It brings together in a seamless manner the world of ICT and Building Management, Building Automation systems or as we more openly describe it "Building Facilities sub-systems". We create Smart Products and Solutions combining hardware, software and Open/Defacto Standards communication protocols. This allows connectivity of any intelligent device in the building with any other as well as enabling the exchanging of value data between the building facilities sub systems and the clients' business/enterprise applications.
Initial work has seen CNS adopt the Niagara AX platform from Tridium Inc. as the convergent platform technology of choice to deliver our Smart Products and Solutions.
Our first Smart product called eLighting™ for Niagara AX™ launched in June 2008 enables DALI® intelligent lamps (ballasts and inverters) to be directly connected to a Niagara AX platform and commissioned, controlled and managed from within the Niagara AX web environment. This establishes eLighting™ as the world's first fully web enabled lighting commissioning and management system.
